Some times just hanging around at a convention will
help bring out the real clown in you. One of the real big pushers of character is competing in skit competition in front of your peers. It helps you to grow fast because your peers
can put the right kind of pressure on you. If you go with the attitude that you want to learn and are willing to take criticism
the judges will tell you the areas that need work. They will also praise the area's that are good and that helps to increase
self esteem. I think that a healthy amount of self esteem is good but it should stop just short of thinking that you are better
then everyone else. I have always come home from conventions
with more wisdom then I went with. Plus a lot of new friends to boot.
