Goober was given an old golf cart and this is what it looked like. (far left) We had to go to Cleaveland Ohio to get it and bring it back. Then the work began. We picked the cart up on July 4th week-end and worked two nights every week till the week before Clownfest on Sept 14th of 2000. It took a lot of work and a lot of help from people we knew but this is the out come of our labor. (center) It was a great year and we also competed in group skit competition and won an award. Here we are at Clownfest 2000 (right) on the board-walk in front of the Sea Farer Motel. Every year we try to go to at least one convention and a couple of work shops as the information we gather is important for growth and development in your clown character. Not only that but to spend a week-end with people that think like you do, is a lot of fun. The year 2001 has brought many new challenging events. There has been more clowning jobs and some different kinds of work along with an increase in my business an some major health events in my family. Also the Kings Klowns have been busy and here we are at Clownfest 2001. (left) Now the Kings Klowns have grown to seven and will again be at the Christmas Parade in Chambersburg Pa. We were at the Dillsburg Farmers Fair Parade on Oct 19th with the clown cart and seven clowns it was great weather for a parade. Oct 20th we were at Sliver Springs MD for their COAI Regional Convention. We picked up a few new skits and ideas that we can use right away.
